Lunar eclipse | Eclipse lunar
The lunar eclipse of July 27, 2018 was highly anticipated in most parts of the world. In Brazil the eclipse was seen in its twilight phase and the exit from the shadow of the Earth. In this image taken in front of the Brazilian National Congress in Brasilia, the lunar eclipse was nearing its end, with its lower edge receiving direct sunlight and the rest dimmed and reddish, characterizing the said blood moon. O eclipse lunar de 27 de julho de 2018 foi bastante aguardado na maior parte do mundo. No Brasil o eclipse foi visto em sua fase de penumbra e a saída da sombra da Terra. Nessa imagem feita em frente ao Congresso Nacional brasileiro, em Brasília, o eclipse lunar estava chegando ao fim, com sua borda inferior recebendo luz direta do Sol e o restante esmaecido e avermelhado, caracterizando a dita lua de sangue.
